Yeup. They’re old, and have PH imballance in their bladders. So we have to get them special PH balancing food so that they don’t get urinary tract infections. Some names have been changed in order to protect the identities of those involved. Other than that all information is based on real events. The Life of Samuel J.Fauker:Gay Cat Extraordinaire Born Samuel J. Spears, his name was later changed to Faulker after his mother, Britney Spears (alias Angel), abandoned him and his siblings shortly after his birth. Sammy’s multi-breed litter made it clear that none of his siblings shared the same father and the identity of his father would never be known. Sammy as he would later be called was a long lanky kitten, content with his regular feedings and attentive caregivers. That is until he began to develop several urinary tract infections, which led to the discovery of his molestation by his brother, Chi-Chi Faulker. At age 16, Butterscotch – he’s still got it and he’s still my love more than ever. He has had diabetes the last two years. He is showing his age, but still such a lover and obviously a ham. Please get your cat checked for diabetes if he has lost weight suddenly or drinking a lot of water. The vet told me for years that Butterscotch was overweight. I fed him low fat food, less treats etc. But he ended up diabetic anyway. It’s really hard watching him deal with the side affects – weak back legs, I have to feed him special diet & give him two shots everyday. Ira is a stray beast that turned up near our home. He was well socialized, but no one in the neighborhood would claim him. Since he was suffering from gastrointestinal woes, it seemed obvious that someone who didn’t want to deal simply threw him out. A visit to the vet and a week of hypoallergenic cat food cleared up the problem. Now he’s well and has a secure home with us. He collects pens as well as bottle caps, which he arranges neatly in one corner of the living room. Good kitty.
