Ira is a stray beast that turned up near our home. He was well socialized, but no one in the neighborhood would claim him. Since he was suffering from gastrointestinal woes, it seemed obvious that someone who didn’t want to deal simply threw him out. A visit to the vet and a week of hypoallergenic cat food cleared up the problem. Now he’s well and has a secure home with us. He collects pens as well as bottle caps, which he arranges neatly in one corner of the living room. Good kitty.
