Bubbles is diabetic, we have to inject him twice a day with insulin when he eats. He lounges around all day doing nothing and is so easy to push around, as once you push him over he’ll give up and just lay down there until hes hungry and gets up for food.
Things get crazier in the local grocery store
Angel’s wonderful story of recovery started with amazing vet care and continues with a diet focused on Hill’s Science Diet dog food. Learn more at www.hillspet.com
Our pets, cats and dogs, are becoming obese and diabetic. Why are our dogs and cats getting fat? The food that we feed our cats and dogs is making them fat and unhealthy. This video is a review of the ingredients that are commonly found in dog and cat food. Like our processed food, you will find that most cat and dog food is filled with grains and starched. These are cheap carbohydrates that cause an insulin response in the body of the cat or dog. That insulin response creates fat storage. Popular advice for people who are overweight is for them to reduce their calories and exercise more. This simplistic approach won’t work with your favorite pet and would not result is weight loss for your cat or dog. It is natural to assume that the diet that you eat is healthy for your pet. The marketing of pet food plays on that false assumption, but your cat or dog was not designed to eat grain. In the wild your cat or dog would hunt and eat meat. Your can and dog need to eat a primal diet. That is your pet’s natural diet. Your goal should be to keep your pet’s food as close to their natural diet as possible. Look for a pet food that has no grains and is low in carbohydrates. That will result in your cat or dog not becoming obese and diabetic, but also in your pet being healthier overall. www.BryanMarcel.com
Does anyone know what this can be? He lost 1 kg since 2/3 months and from scratching (itch) he lost a lot of his fur around his neck (in general his coat is a lot thinner than it was before). He’s treated for fleas, so that’s not it. I’m thinking about a food allergy or a hormonal issue (he’s neutered at October 04). Been to the vet already, but they also can’t tell me what it is. The only thing i can do is wait and see if it’s gonna disappear by itself or i can go to a dermatologist… Maybe someone recognize these symptoms?? (Only his appearance has changed, his behavior is still the same)
The Catit® Design Fresh & Clear Cat Drinking Fountain provides your cat with a continuous indoor source of fresh-tasting, cool, filtered water that will encourage your pet to drink more water. Encouraging your cat to drink more water helps ensure proper kidney function, helping to prevent crystal formation that can lead to urinary diseases. – New elevated design – Multi-Stage Filtration absorbs water impurities (replacement filters available, sold separately) – Large surface area for greater oxygenation – Increased water-to-air surface area adds oxygen for fresher, tastier water. – Re-circulating flow eliminates stale, stagnant water. – Also suitable for small dogs.
After being raised on Science Diet it took only 4 weeks off for declining health to be very evident, learn how quickly Zelda bounced back going back on Science Diet. Learn more at www.hillspet.com
Raw food is just another form of extremism. It takes a very good idea: increased consumption of fruits and vegetables, and can take it too far. The reasons to follow an all-raw diet are just bad logic, and can cause great harm. The Raw Foods Website I used in the video: www.living-foods.com Cooking and human evolution: www.sciencedaily.com
Rocky is on a special urinary diet that is very expensive. He has the hard food from the vet and once in a while he can have a treat which we call “supper”. This is also from the vet only. Thanks for watching.

Muffin is a young girl; only 1 ½ years old. She is very playful and outgoing, and loves playing with crinkle toys and glitter balls. Muffin was diagnosed with Feline Lower Urinary Tract Disorder, which is a condition that can cause flare-ups of bladder inflammation. There is no cure for this condition, but it can be managed with a diet of mostly canned food, and by minimizing stress… so Muffin is looking for a family who can provide a calm, comfortable home.
