I use to feed mine cat food as was suggested at one point by others. Well it turned out, they stunk pretty good. I almost thought I had crickets again. After removing cat food from there diet, I haven’t noticed any major oders. This species does have a slight oder, but nothing overwhelming in my experience. To make sure your roaches are breedung, give them adequate heat and humidity and you’ll have 1000′s in no time. I go through roughly 300+ a week currently feeding all my reptiles and inverts.
