My cat has stones in his bladder and I was told he had to eat a special urinary biscuit food. Now I live in Vietnam so the communication is not so good. He said the cat had to eat it forever. But on the packet it says 5- 12 weeks or up to 6 months. Anyone had a similar diagnosis and what were you told?

My cat recently became completly blocked. I am curious your normal feeding routine before your cat got urinary crystals, or if you had made a recent change in food shortly before problem. I know the dry food can normally be the culprit because cats don’t drink enough water. It seems apparent that your more likely to have this problem with the cheaper foods but i am curious about anyone’s cat getting urinary crystals when they were on a high quality food. Thanks

I dont know what this is. Hes a strictly indoor cat. Its also moist. He wont really let me touch but hes acting normal and is playful. Hes allergic to generic foods but i have him on some hypoallergenic hard food. I got him some treats but didnt realize he could be allergic to these as well….the treats are the only new thing in his environment..what else could this be and shoud i take him in tomorrow (saturday) morning?
